Ihedioha paid for the cars Hope Uzodinma shared – APC chieftain

A chieftain of the Imo State APC Ashiwaju Wisdom Ohalete have revealed that Ihedioha paid for the Toyota SUVs Gov Hope Uzodinma handed over to the Imo State judges recently.

Gov Hope Uzodinma had come under fire from the PDP opposition for sharing about 20 Toyota Sports Utility Vehicles to Imo State judges.

The opposition were of the view that Gov Hope Uzodinma should have paid salaries and pensions instead of buying the vehicles for the judges.

Ashiwaju Wisdom Ohalete on his Facebook handle cleared the air about the purchase of the vehicles stating they were already ordered by sacked governor Emeka Ihedioha and Gov Hope Uzodinma only took delivery of them and shared them to the state judges.

A similar episode had occurred several months ago when Gov Hope Uzodinma handed over several Innoson operational vehicles to security outfits in the state and the PDP opposition had attacked the government for buying the vehicles only to turn around to claim the purchase of the vehicles after the issue of a missing N19.63bn was brought to light.

“I wonder why PDP keeps ridiculing themselves,” another APC chieftain and youth leader in the State Mr Chima stated when we put a call across to him. “They attack blindly without getting proper information from the people they are defending only to come out later to start denying what they said. PDP may end up becoming irrelevant even as an opposition party if people start seeing them as people with two tongues.”
